Join us on July 15th or 17th for a very special private dinner event featuring a new concept and a new chef at Naked Kitchen. The dinner will bridge Chef Sean Baker's residences, Southern Baja Mexico and the San Francisco Bay Area. For this dinner, Sean will be inviting Adam Lawrence and Anthony Keels, the trio formerly cooking and creating together at Gather and Verbena restaurants. They intend to provide a celebration of where they live, using techniques and traditions from their travels and experiences. The menu will be rooted in Summer while being influenced by the surrounding seasons using fermentation and preservation.

Experience a number of Bakers fermentations that span over the past decade.

The menu will be posted here 2 weeks before the event.

The tasting menu is priced at $125 for 6 courses with an additional $55 cocktail and beverage pairing that is offered at the time of arrival (cash or venmo accepted). Please let us know by private message whether you plan to do the pairing or not.

We will be offering a plant-based option for those who let us know at the time of ticket purchase. Due to the nature of this pop-up event, we will not be able to accept any other dietary restrictions. If you have an allergy, please reach out to us before purchasing your ticket to see if we can accommodate.

We hope to see you there!

Sean finds inspiration in the garden, in the simple beauty of the most basic elements of food. He is an admirer of the different expressions vegetables have and the complexity each one brings to the table. He prefers to make everything by hand, using old-world and modern culinary techniques.

Formerly of Millenium Restaurant and Gabriella Cafe, in 2009 Sean opened Gather Restaurant to local and national acclaim. In 2010 he was named Esquire Magazine Chef of the year along with Best New Restaurant. That same year Food and Wine magazine included his work in their top 10 dishes of the year. In 2011 he earned a James Beard nomination for Rising Star Chef. Baker was also awarded Star Chefs Rising Star Chef 2013. In late 2013 he opened Verbena Restaurant in San Francisco to enthusiastic reviews, including SF Weekly Best New Restaurant of 2014.

Most recently he has been cooking privately, consulting and hosting pop-ups out of his home with the help of his wife, Renee, in Noe valley. Sean and Renee built a home in southern Baja where they plan to host private dinners and events beginning later this year.

Anthony Keels was born in the mountains of Santa Cruz and moved to the bay area in 2008. after working with Sean at Verbena and Gather, Keels joined 3 star Michelin Saison in 2015 as its Bar Director. Receiving such accolades as International destination cocktail program in the Michelin guide.

After leaving Saison in 2018 Keels launched 8 Tables with Chef George Chen of China Live, Keels focused on traditional Cantonese flavors and ingredients and offered an 8 course cocktail tasting menu. The cocktails were given rave reviews by The San Francisco Chronicle and Bon Appétit Magazine.

Keels launched a consulting firm in 2020 The Curse of Good Taste and currently resides in Mendocino CA, as the Cocktail Curator of the historic Little River Inn.

Adam Lawrence moved from Indiana to California at a young age and found himself instantly inspired by the area's biodiversity and bountiful produce. He worked in several restaurants in the Bay Area and spends his spare time researching the wild edibles of the United States. He is currently working on a book covering the importance of emotions evoked by smell and taste.
