About this Event
BEING MICHELLE is a feature-length documentary film about a Deaf woman with autism who survived incarceration and abuse, and now uses her artwork to depict the trauma she survived and heal from her past.
The screening of BEING MICHELLE will be held in Room 103 of the Technology Center at Northern Essex Community College, 100 Elliott Street, Haverhill, Massachusetts. It will be followed by a one-hour panel discussion. The panel will include a member of the film team, as well as local community leaders and advocates.
Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the event starts at 6:00 p.m. The panel discussion will take place after the film, at 7:30 p.m.
