Join us on Thursday, November 7th, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Bolton Central Library for a special workshop exploring Bolton’s rich literary heritage. Led by Prof Jill Marsden, this event will dive into how Bolton inspired famous writers like Charles Dickens and James Watkins.
Discover the impact of the Mass Observation project and create your own responses to its 1936 survey. This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in local history, literature, and creative writing.
