This event is part of Being Human Festival, the UK’s national festival of the humanities, taking place 7–16 November 2024. Led by the School of Advanced Study, University of London, with generous support from Research England, in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the British Academy. This interactive workshop explores how health and medics are represented in video games set in the Second World War. The workshop will be led by a leading researcher in the pedagogy of video games in historical understanding of the humanities. Video games will be available for the participants and the researchers will run a virtual walkthrough of a specific game.
