About this Event
After the success of last year’s event and to celebrate Leeds Pride Week 2024, Glean Pride will be hosting a panel discussion in collaboration with Department.
The panel will focus on “being gay in the modern day”. Our guest speakers will discuss what’s it’s like today being part of the LGBTQIA+ community when it comes to work life, community and health & wellbeing. We also hope to share advice and visions for the future.
This Event will be open to anyone who wishes to join us to engage in meaningful conversations and celebrate the local LGBTQIA+ community. We'll also provide treats and drinks whilst we discuss what it means to be queer in the modern sphere.
Panellists join us from the Education, Healthcare, and Charity sectors.
The panel will begin at 6.30pm and there will be time to socialise before and after the discussion.
