Beikoku Shidokan Karatedo National Training Seminar (NTS 2024)

NTS 2024 will be an exceptional opportunity for beginning to advanced Shidokan practitioners to learn from senior Shidokan instructors as well as to build friendships by practicing with students from many Shidokan dojos.

Register now and be a part of this memorable karate event to be held on July 26-27, 2024 at the Lansing Center in Lansing, MI!

During the 2 days of training sessions, students (ages 12 and up) of all ranks and levels of experience will have opportunities to work with senior instructors from throughout the Beikoku Association to enhance knowledge and skills in Shidokan karate.

Convenient lunch options will be available in the Lansing Center’s food concessions area and also at the nearby Lansing Shuffle.

During the Saturday-only 1:30-4:30 pm youth training session (Check-in time is 1:00pm), students (ages 6-11) of all ranks and levels of experience will explore active, cooperative and fun skill-building activities that can help build basic Shidokan karate technique. Youth Training Seminar participants will have the opportunity at the end of the seminar to share what they've learned!

On Saturday evening there will be a banquet dinner to recognize Beikoku Shidokan Association dojos celebrating significant anniversaries and to celebrate Iha Sensei's birthday! (Register by July 17 to attend the banquet.)

Following the banquet, enjoy social time with karate friends in the Lansing Center's Riverstreet Pub!

T-shirts will feature this year's theme graphic, "Lifetime of Learning" on the back and a small Beikoku Shidokan logo on the front of a Gildan Ultra Cotton shirt. To make sure you get the size shirt you want, pre-purchase by July 7 and pick up your shirt when you check in at the NTS event. (T-shirts will also be available for sale in limited numbers of sizes at the event.)
