Priests and pastors, elders, all complete,
Their tongues weave tales of righteousness divine,
But beneath the surface, darkness does entwine.
Deaconesses and choirmasters, pure in sight,
Yet hidden shadows lurk within the light,
Their songs of praise, a facade so bright,
But hearts corrupted, shrouded in the night.
Choristers in harmony, voices raise,
While sins unspoken, in secret ways,
Their melodies mask the truth they hide,
As hypocrisy festers deep inside.
Personal ministry, they claim to guide,
Yet stray from truth, in deception they reside,
Leading astray the faithful and the meek,
Their falsehoods poison, leaving hearts to shriek.
Church leaders, blinded by their own deceit,
Compete for power, while souls they mistreat,
They prey on those who seek a guiding hand,
Yet lead them astray, to barren wastelands.
For when the Savior comes, in glory bright,
These hypocrites shall tremble at the sight,
Their lies exposed, their sins laid bare,
No sanctuary from the righteous glare.
They preach of water, yet drink of wine,
Their twisted morals, a damning sign,
They chase after lust, in guise of love,
While souls they claim to save, they truly shove.
Deserted pews, where once the faithful prayed,
Now empty echoes of the games they played,
For truth will rise, and justice will prevail,
As hypocrites before the Lord shall quail.
So heed this warning, oh leaders of the fold,
Repent your sins, before your fate is told,
For when the reckoning comes, on judgment day,
No refuge shall be found, as you kneel and pray.
