Behind the Scenes with Black in Alaska (plus speed networking!)

Join us for the first professional development session of 2025 with your local PRSA Alaska Chapter! Hear from Jovell Rennie and Thomas McIntyre, who are part of a team that spent over three years telling the stories of nearly 50 Black Alaskans. With backing from the Rasmuson Foundation, "Black in Alaska" has been exhibited in the Anchorage Museum and UAF's Museum of the North. Jovell and Thomas will share the highs, lows, and everything in-between that they experienced while working on the project.
