About this Event
The Historic Sterick Building was purchased by local developer Stuart Harris. Known as “the Queen of the South,” the Sterick Building is a 340,000-square-foot, 29-story, Gothic Revival skyscraper that was the tallest building in the South from its completion in 1929 until 1957. Located at North B.B. King Boulevard and Madison Avenue, the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 but has been vacant since 1986.
This exclusive tour will provide an opportunity to hear directly from the developer about the challenges being faced by commercial development projects. Hear lessons learned and come prepared to ask questions about the realities of the development industry right now.
Note: Please wear closed-toe shoes. We look forward to seeing you there!
