About this Event
Northcliffe House, designed by Ellis & Clarke is a Grade II listed building on Tudor Street in the City of London and the former headquarters and print works of the Daily Mail newspaper. It was one of the first newspaper buildings in Britain to incorporate modern printing technology, with presses imported from the USA.
Situated near Fleet Street, John Robertson Architects (JRA) have repositioned the building to accommodate future tenants from the insurance, legal, fin-tech, social media, and technology sectors.

Originally built in the 1920s and redeveloped in 2001, JRA’s proposals have preserved the original Daily Mail facades and extended the office space on the upper two floors with the designs repositioning the main entrance and reconfigured atrium to provide amenity space including break out areas and a café.
John Robertson said the design was mindful of both the building’s links to the newspaper industry and its birth in the “roaring twenties”, a decade of rapid growth in engineering and industrial design.
