Event Founder Allyson Roberts is a Cognitive Behavioral Expert with over 20 years of experience in neuroplasticity, the rewiring of the mind, and how it can be used to heal trauma. Allyson began her work in battered women's shelters, helping women understand their power and reclaiming it even in the worst of times. Allyson knows how to claim power, even when you feel powerless, because she survived not only an abusive household growing up, but at just nineteen years old she faced homelessness and an unplanned pregnancy following a traumatic fallout with her partner. Allyson could have given up. She could have chosen to let pain define her life. Instead, she chose to hold onto her faith and resilience in order to find an authentically happy and prosperous life.
