This specialized camp offers a brief dive into the exciting world of theater production, focusing on the technical and creative elements that bring performances to life. It's perfect for young enthusiasts eager to explore the world behind the curtain.
12-18 years (Spotlight Adult volunteers are welcome to attend and learn but will need to be pre-approved.)
The required paperwork will need to be filled out upon the first drop-off or stop by the school anytime during the day on Saturday the 22nd. Today's online payment will also collect the student's name and age, therefore reserving your spot in the camp. Any special needs can be communicated at the first drop-off. If your student has any special dietary restrictions or allergies please plan to bring a lunch each day. Our regular meals are provided by Grow Appalachia: Berea Kids Eat, summer food program.
Camp tuition is non-refundable and will not be pro-rated.

1. Cost for the week - $125.00
2. Breakfast and lunch is provided.
3. 12-18 years
4. Drop-off begins at 7:45 am
5. Pick-up by 4:15 pm
6. Monday-Friday June 17-June 21
7. We recommend that campers bring along a water bottle.
Key Activities:
Set Design: Campers will learn the art of set design, understanding how to create immersive environments that complement and enhance theatrical performances.
Foam Sculpting: Dive into the world of foam sculpting, a crucial skill in creating lightweight, versatile props and set pieces.
Woodworking: Campers will get hands-on experience with woodworking, crafting sturdy and functional elements for the stage.
Sound Design: Explore the intricacies of sound in theater. Learn about sound effects, background scores, and the technical aspects of managing audio in a live environment.
Painting: From backdrops to props, painting is an essential skill. Campers will learn various techniques to bring color and life to their creations.
3D Printing & Laser Cutting: Embrace cutting-edge technology with sessions on 3D printing and laser cutting, teaching campers how to create intricate, precise designs and props.
Lighting: Understand the art of lighting in theater. Learn about different types of lights, color theory, and how lighting can change the mood and focus in a scene.
