Behind the Barrel: 2025 Winter Whiskey Experience
Each year, State 38 Distilling releases a one-of-a-kind Winter Whiskey, crafted to capture the season in a bottle. This year’s release is truly exceptional—an American Single Malt finished for 6 years in a port wine barrel. For the first time ever, we’re opening our doors and inviting a select group of whiskey lovers behind the scenes. This exclusive event offers the rare chance to taste the 2025 Winter Whiskey before its release and personally bottle it by hand—making for a whiskey experience unlike anything we’ve offered before.
Join us on Friday, November 7, from 5:30–7:00 PM for this intimate sneak peek. With only 20 tickets available, this event is your opportunity to be the first to taste our Winter Whiskey, bottle it yourself, and even secure a bottle to take home before the official release. Tickets are $65—don’t miss your chance to be part of this rare and unforgettable experience.

- Hands-on whiskey thieving & side-by-side tasting: sample the upcoming 2025 American Single Malt Winter Whiskey vs. a current State 38 favorite (thieved straight from the barrel by you!)
- Exclusive barrel tasting of the not-yet-released 2025 Winter Whiskey
- Personally bottle your own 2025 Winter Whiskey—fill, cork, seal, and label your bottle by hand
- Behind-the-scenes distillery tour + Q&A with the distiller
- Early access: purchase a 2025 Winter Whiskey bottle that night (before release!)—including the option to buy the bottle you personally bottled for $89
