Jesse Keen was born and raised in Maryville, TN, but graduated East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Sciences – Majoring in Bluegrass Music – and being the first female to do so. Her debut album was created in Nashville and released in 2012. Jesse since won the International Bluegrass Music Association Momentum Vocalist of the Year Award in 2014.
