About this Event
This workshop will increase understanding of the underlying causes of challenging behaviour in children and young people. Participants will learn how to develop strategies to reduce the impact, react and de-escalate.
Training will be hosted by Maurice Hines and Kay O'Brien from Oyster Training. The workshop is aimed at front line youth staff, you can book in multiple people from your organisations.
Maurice Hines is an experienced trainer n a range of areas including work with young people, conflict management, physical intervention and SIA linked training for the private security industry. Kay O’Brien has many years experience works with children and young people in youth clubs and adventure playgrounds. She is passionate about including disabled young people.
This workshop is exclusively for Young K&C members.
