Beginning Soldering – Garden Silhouettes

Come join us in this one-day workshop to learn basic sculpting & soldering techniques to create your own garden silhouette collar with flowers and gems. Using sterling silver wire to sculpt and solder floral and leaf shapes, students will learn basic soldering techniques, basic wire wrapping, shaping and sculpting wire, simple soldering, gemstone setting, chain creation, filing, finishing and polishing. Learn to create lovely floral accent connections in silhouette shapes of flowers, lotus, petals, rosebuds, leaves and more!
Skill Level: Beginner (even if you have never soldered before)

Francesca is a designer at heart and has been creating jewelry since early 1999. She is mostly self-taught, although she has taken workshops in almost all mediums. Francesca works intuitively, gathers inspiration and twists, turns, bashes, and burns it until she gets the desired outcome. Her work is bold, expressive, and filled with texture! Francesca has taught in the Carolinas, at national bead shows, and for almost 2 decades in the Nashville area as Francesca Lynn and has recently relocated back to the home of her heart, East Tennessee, where she started Studio Navarri.
