This class is taught in five three-hour sessions. Valuable information and new techniques will be discussed in each session. Learn the skills needed to create a 4 or 6 Block Sampler Quilt top – from start to finish -- including rotary cutting, piecing techniques, piecing the blocks, adding sashing and borders, and creating and basting your quilt “sandwich” in preparation for quilting. Marnet will demonstrate basic machine quilting techniques, using a walking foot to quilt straight or wavy lines. In the final class you will learn to bind your quilt
You decide whether you want to make a 4 block wall-hanging, a table runner or a 6-block small lap or baby quilt. If you choose the six block variation, you will be given instructions on how to make a variation of blocks taught in class.
