This course will explain: when and why to use NVivo in research? What types of data can it take & how to commence a project?
About this Event

Led by Dr Pauline Prevett and Dr Haleema Sadia, we will engage with NVivo Basics, such as:

  • How to use NVivo with different types of data?
  • How to manage data individually and in a team?
  • How to commence and manage a project in NVivo?
  • Working with research materials: Creating files, Memos, Memo links, annotations, codes, nodes and basic search functions.

By the end of the session, you will have firsthand experience using NVivo in your own research.

10.00 Welcome and brief introduction to the SEED NVIvo User Group, why NVivo and the types of document to use in NVivo.

10.20 Commencing a project in NVivo (Presentation and discussion)
