Class Description: Students will receive a drop spindle that will be yours to keep as well as the fiber for learning how to spin. Marcia will start at the very beginning, so no experience is necessary!
Instructor Biography: Marcia Weinert, who is “Undeniable Loopy!”, loves her wool and sheep. Her handspun skeins and original knitwear designs have taken top honors at some of America’s largest festivals, and her patterns appear in print. She teaches spinning, felting, knitting, and crochet in many venues across the northeast.
Prerequisites: No experience needed.
Class Fee: $35
Materials Fee: Additional roving will be available, if needed.
Maximum Class Size: 12 Students
Target Age: Ages 12 and above (Youth must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the class)
