This is a one day beginner level collage quilting class. Students can choose to either make a mushroom or rooster project. A light lunch will be provided. This class is $50 and you must pre-pay and register by January 6, 2025 to attend. To pay and register call Lulu and Hazel Quilt Shop at (580)931-9112. Students will also need to bring or purchase the following supplies:
1 yard Steam a Seam II Lite
Scraps of a variety of print fabric that reads as a solid. Try to bring darks mediums and light values of the colors. Usually, a 5 inch square of each fabric is all you need for the project.
If you are making the mushroom, you will need to bring
Reds
Grey
White
Green
If you are making the rooster, bring
Yellows
Reds
White
Blue
Brown
Grey
• Sharp Scissors (Karen Kay Buckley scissors are the best)
• Pressing mat /design board to build your project on
• Wand iron or small travel size iron
• Mat to place hot iron on
• Tweezers (Old pair)
• Pencil
• 6 regular size straight pins
• Glue Stick (if you have one already)
