About this Event
In this In this beginner's workshop, guided by special guest instructor Rebecca Siemering (bio below) , we will use Tampico fiber to make several small brushes.
A Tampico fiber brush is perfect for cleaning your keyboard, desk, or workshop. It is a soft fiber, silky, but strong and wears well. Brushes made of this fiber are ideal for dusting or sweeping crumbs on kitchen tables and counters, among other uses.
Tampico is a natural fiber from the Agave Lechuguilla cactus. Several brushes will be made from this fiber and bound with colorful acrylic cord. There will be a variety of cord colors to use. Make a brush for yourself and a second as a gift to be used and appreciated!
