Let’s take a leisurely stroll through one of Chico’s best kept secrets - Verbena Fields - where we may see Northern Flicker, Yellow-rumped Warbler, American Goldfinch and Red-shouldered Hawks and other raptors. This field trip is limited to 10 participants and is focused on beginning birders but is open to all levels of birding experience. Binoculars are available for loan. Please let the field trip leader know ahead of time to reserve a pair. Meet at 9:00 am at Verbena Fields at the corner of East 1st Avenue and Verbena Lane.
