These dance classes will be designed around strength, flexibility, and improving body image. All sizes of humans are welcome. There is NO size chart for sexy!Many people believe that belly dancing just starts with wiggling. This is not true! Belly dance starts with strength and flexibility, and cultivating these abilities are paramount to learning belly dance. Patience is a virtue!
Rowan will start class by teaching the ways to stretch, stretch, stretch! The first few classes will focus heavily on this, and each class will be based on the progress of the students. If you need more time to touch your toes, then that is what we will do.
Later: Rowan will start working on core strength and total body strength by teaching basic moves designed to help posture, abdominal strength, leg strength, arms, and the works. Even your hands and feet!!
Each class will be 5.00 and can be paid at the door, or you can pay via the paypal link on this event.
WEAR: Loose fitting clothing.
BRING: A water bottle to keep hydrated and a fun attitude!
