- Biology and lifecycle of a bee
- Beekeeping equipment
- Beehive placement and protecting a hive from predators
- How to install a package of bees and a nucleus colony
Optional Field Day! (Saturday, May 3)
Join us at the Hamburg Honey apiary and we will discuss how to find eggs and a queen and how to do hive inspections. All attendees will have a chance to win a NUC! A bee suit will be required for the field day.
