$Beginners\u2019 pottery workshop -make a sgraffito bird$

In this beginner-friendly & relaxed workshop, you will make a bird sculpture using slab building, which you will then decorate using underglaze and use the sgraffito technique to add decoration. Sgraffito involves scratching and carving off the underglaze to reveal the white clay underneath. Your bird can be designed to sit in different positions or you can make it into a hanging decoration.
All the equipment and materials you will need are supplied and you will be able to make and take home unique beautiful ceramic pieces that you have made yourself. I am a qualified teacher and the class takes place at my studio in Brooke, just south of Norwich.
