This four-hour Workshop is designed for people with very little or even no dance experience and gives you a fast track into freestyle. Also, if you haven't been dancing for a while, it's also a good way to familiarise yourself with these moves with a limited number of dancers.
On the day, we teach you all twelve beginners moves plus, you will also learn how to string the moves together so you can dance them to music in freestyle. This workshop teaches you the Ceroc fundamentals, twelve beginner moves, how to link moves, how to turn, spin and return and lots of freestyle techniques that will help you on the dance floor.
This Workshop gives you the equivalent experience of 6 - 8 classes and we recommend it to all beginners as it will teach you good technique and help with lead and follow.
This workshop will be held in the Meeting Room at St Chads which has a large sprung dance floor and a kitchen for hot drinks. St Chads has its own car park and the entrance is close to the adjacent Garage. For directions, search 'Ceroc St Chads' on Google maps.
Arrive at 10:15am and you'll have time for a cuppa before we start.
Lunch is from 12:30 - 1:30pm Shop two minutes away or bring a packed lunch and bottled water to stay hydrated.
We plan to rotate dancers during this workshop but please let us know if you have booked as a couple and wish to stay together.
