In this class you will practice the beginning steps of pottery on the wheel. Choose from 8-week or 16 week session. Lessons include centering, throwing cylinders, throwing a bowl, trimming, making handles, and glazing. Depending on the duration of your class and dedication of your practice, you can expect to take home between 10-30 items. The class includes up to 25 lbs of clay per 8 weeks, and free access to Open Studio for the duration. Additional clay can be purchased as needed, and all tools, glaze, and firings are included.Instructor: Rachel Skinner
