Join us for a fun day, which gives you the opportunity to learn the basics of upholstery and also produces a useful piece of furniture. A drop in seat for a dining chair or a small stool are suitable items to begin with.Beginning with webbing and a base of hessian, we work up through the filling layers and finish off with the top cover in fabric of your choice or even a tapestry or embroidery you have worked.
The tutor can provide all the materials you may require at reasonable cost and the use of any tools needed.
Jenny is a fully qualified C&G tutor and has taught upholstery for over 20 years.
