Join us for a skill-packed but relaxed 6-week course designed to take you through the fundamentals of pottery. Whether you’re completely new or have dabbled before, this course offers the perfect foundation.
What You’ll Learn:
- Clay preparation
- Centering & opening up
- Getting height & knuckling up
- Throwing basic mug forms
- Pulled handles & slip decoration
Course Goal:
By the end of the 6 weeks, you’ll have made 4 slip-decorated mugs, glazed and fired by us.
What’s Included:
- Unlimited clay and slips for decoration
- Expert tuition and demonstrations
- Glazing and firing of 4 mugs
- 2 hours of studio time each week
- Please allow 20 minutes for clean-up
- All materials provided
