Beginner’s tarot class, hosted by Mystic Minds LLC and Living Tree Tarot, will take place on May 31st from 1-4pm at Mystic Minds business location at 312 W. Washington St. in Kirksville.This class provides a strong foundation for understanding the elements of tarot. Although tarot is sometimes misunderstood, it is a powerful divination tool for self-reflection, guidance and personal growth. Tarot is not about predicting a fixed future but rather offering insight into the energies surrounding a situation, clarity, guiding and connecting you with your intuition and spirit guides.
This class will cover the four suits, basic numerology of the cards and general meanings of each card. We will hold a strong focus on developing and following your personal intuition while providing guidance on how to develop your personal connection to the cards. You’ll receive hands on practice with the option to read for others and have a reading from other members of the class.
With this class, you will receive a tarot guidebook that reviews each card and serves as a study tool to take home. This guidebook includes an option to color and explore the symbolism of each card, helping you to connect to each card on a deeper level and pick up on each cards small details. It is always important to study each card in every new deck before using to familiarize yourself with its symbolism.
We will use the traditional Rider-Waite-Smith deck as a reference. If you already have this deck, you are welcome to bring it with you. If you don’t have this deck, there is an optional add-on to purchase a Rider-Waite-Smith deck at a 20% discount. This add-on will be available through May 14th to ensure we have enough decks to meet the needs of the class.
Whether you're just starting or looking to strengthen your understanding, this class will provide you with the tools and insight to begin reading with confidence.

Katie from Mystic Minds brings over 10 years of experience in spiritual development and intuitive communication, using tarot and oracle as clarifiers and directives from spirit guides.
Teena from Living Tree Tarot has been a professional tarot reader for over 31 years. She teaches and guides others in understanding tarot’s symbolism and intuitive connections. She has been a great resource and strong mentor for many navigating their spiritual journeys.
