This training is available to anyone with an interest in learning how to give a professional full body massage. No prior experience is necessary.Over this 2 day weekend intensive, you will learn all of the classic foundation Swedish Massage techniques. You will leave with the skills to give a therapeutic, full body, professional massage sequence with a focus on relaxation or a more stimulating and invigorating sports-style massage.
This 18 hour certificate is an excellent way to learn new professional skills for use with family, friends or perhaps clients; with a view to a career change or to add on new skills to an existing hands on health business. An extensive course manual is provided and access to an online learning video.
There will also be an introduction to the basics of Aromatherapy, learning how to safely make an aromatherapy therapeutic blend for your massage clients.
What you will learn:
- A complete and thorough professional massage sequence to treat the whole body.
- A hands-on experience with audio, kinesthetic and visual methods used throughout the training.
We will be working in a friendly, safe and nurturing environment at the beautiful Bodyriches wellness center, and you will be partnering up with other students in the 2 day training to practice your techniques. You will be supported to have the space to personally choose your partner throughout the weekend.
The training will have a mixed group of friendly inspired interested students always attending.
