Class Times:
Saturday: 10:00am - 2:00pm w/ a 30 minute break
Sunday: 10:00am - 12:00pm (to bake loaves you made the previous day, let us know if you cannot make Sunday)
In this two-day weekend class, you will learn how to:
Create & Tame a Sourdough Starter.
Mix dough by hand with simple tools.
Properly ferment your loaves at home.
How to shape loaves & Bake in a Dutch Oven.
Store & Slice Sourdough
You will go home with:
5 LB (2KG) of freshly milled flour. You can chose from organic white or organic whole wheat.
2+ loaves of bread to share with your family
Sourdough Recipe Package
Knowledge of the benefits of sourdough, the history of bread & how to use your discard starter
A brand new sourdough starter
NO REFUNDS ONE WEEK PRIOR TO CLASS
Bring water, an apron, wear comfortable clothes and have long hair tied back.
