10/4 – Terminology, Tools, Reading a Pattern and learning basic stitches
10/11 – Basic Stitches: chain stitch, single, half, double crochets & maybe one or two more!
Practicing - tension
Practice by making a crocheted sleeve for your takeout coffee/tea cup!
10/18 – Start final project – beginner hat (baby, child or adult size or scarf (with or without fringe)

Supplies Needed:
Crochet Hook – Size I (5.5mm) preferably with a comfort grip
Yarn – 4 ounce skein – medium weight soft LIGHT colored yarn*
Scissors
Mary will bring skeins of Caron Simple Soft Yarn that can be bought from her for $3.00 ea.
