Dates and description:
2/15 - Terminology, Tools, Reading a Pattern and learning basic stitches
2/22 - Basic Stitches - chain stitch, single, half, double crochets
Practicing tension
Practice by making a crocheted “sleeve” for your coffee/tea cup
3/1 - Start final project: beginner hat or scarf
Supplies Needed (not included):
Crochet Hook - Size I (5.5mm) preferably with comfort grip
Yarn 4oz skein medium weight soft light colored yarn*
Scissors
* Note: Mary has a supply of Caron Simply Soft yarn you can buy from her for $3.00 ea.
-Hat can be made in baby, child or adult size (slouchy or not)
-Scarf can be made with or without fringe.
