Our Beginners Pilates program is designed to help you build a strong foundation in the Pilates method. We will break down the moves based on the classical exercises developed by Joseph Pilates over 100 years ago.Pilates is a highly effective, low impact exercise method working the deep stabilising muscles to tone, elongate, strengthen and restore the body to balance. Pilates helps to improve posture and your everyday movement without stressing the joints, keeping aches and pains at bay.
You'll learn how to move with the Pilates principles of Centering, Concentration, Control, Precision, Breath, and Flow that make Pilates a fitness experience for both the body and mind.
Fiona, Marion & Catherine will take you through the Alignment, Breathing and Centring techniques that help us connect to our deep stabilising muscles. They will both give modifications and progressions where necessary to cater to all ability levels.
Our Next 8 week block starts on Thursday the 16th May (£76, Concessions £72).
