Join designer maker Lauren Holloway on this day workshop to get to know your way around the sewing machine.In this workshop Lauren will teach you how to thread up your sewing machine and be shown key sewing skills. You will learn how to create different stitches, insert a zip, box corners and make and join pieces of a simple pattern. You will spend the day learning how to make a variety of projects to take home using a selection of fabrics provided, including a drawstring bag and a zipped pouch.
You will end the day feeling satisfied with your achievements and more confident using a sewing machine. You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine to help you get to know it better.
