About this Event
Join us for our Beginners Knitting workshop with brilliant knitter Rachel Armytage to help you take that leap into learning to Knit in 2024.
Knitting is such a fun and versatile skill to learn and there are so many things that you can make once you've learnt a few basic stitches. It is also a great hobby to have to help you relax and look after your everyday wellbeing.
In this workshop we will start from the very beginning and you will learn all the basics including casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch and casting off. We will also introduce you to some simple patterns and send you off with all the skills and confidence you need to get started on a new project including links to our handy video tutorials.
All materials are included and you will leave with a knitted sample.
The workshop is suitable for complete beginners or those wanting to refresh their skills.
Hot drinks and biscuits are included. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
This workshop also makes a great gift, just print the ticket once purchased and pop it in a card!
We are really looking forward to welcoming you in.
