The guitar is a lovely instrument to learn to play and is also great fun. The guitar draws people together to enjoy themselves, make friends and sing songs. On this friendly and inclusive course, you will learn the basics of guitar playing and group performance.
Learning Goals:
Hold the guitar correctly
Learn simple chords and strum in time to a beat, including 4/4time, ¾ time
Strum along to simple songs in a range of styles, including pop and folk
Learn how to tune your guitar correctly
Describe how playing a musical instrument can improve your mental health
