Let's unravel the mystery of sewing patterns, then you can put your new knowledge to good use making yourself a pair of trousers (or shorts)This is a two-week course, running on Saturdays 1st and 8th June, 2 - 4.30 pm. Your ticket covers both afternoons.
In this small, informal class we'll explain how to read and use sewing patterns and once that's all clear, we'll provide you with a sewing pattern and our expert tutor will guide you through each step as you make your own drawstring trousers.
When you book your place we'll send you further information, including how much fabric you will need. There will be a limited choice of fabrics here on the day, but you may prefer to bring your own. This pattern works equally well for summer trousers or pyjama trousers.
All other materials will be provided, along with refreshments.
This workshop is open to anyone over the age of 12, though 12 - 16 year olds must be accompanied by an adult.
