Whether you're a seasoned paddler or completely new to the sport, you're welcome to hop in a boat and learn the synchronized strokes. We offer a fun and supportive environment for everyone to enjoy the beauty of Tampa Bay from a unique perspective. Come paddle with us and discover the excitement of dragon boating!Dragon Boating Intro:
Health: Please do not attend if sick, watch for heat illness (hydrate, light clothes, take breaks if needed). Waiver required.
Activity: Team paddling (10-20 per boat), steered by a steersperson. Great core/cardio workout.
Newcomers Welcome: No experience needed, training provided.
Bring: Water, sunscreen, hat, clothes/shoes that can get wet, an open mind and positive attitude.
Practice: Veteran members assist new paddlers.
When: Every other Saturday (may vary).
Where: Tampa River Center Boathouse, near Laurel Street Bridge (meet by the blue tables by docks).
