We're thrilled to announce our first ever Collegiate Shag workshop! Collegiate Shag is a distinct and eye-catching partnered dance, known for its iconic "shag hand" posture and rapid, stylish footwork. Originating as a fad dance of the 1930s, it blends the technical turns and kicks of Charleston with the playful improvisations typical of 6-count swing dance styles. This one-day workshop features instruction from Jack and Ava, two Collegiate Shag dancers from Indiana, who are excited to share their passion for the dance with Rapid Rhythms!
