This 6 week course is designed to introduce you and your dog to the exciting world of scent detection
Here’s an overview of the course:
• Teaching our dogs to search recognise our target scent
• Build your dog’s search skills and eventually be able to search pipes, bags, chairs, vehicles and small areas
• Shaping your dog’s indication, so you know they’ve found out
• A mini mock time trial to finish! No prizes but a chance to see how much your dog has learned, and to whet your appetite for our real competitions and trials!
Upon completion you’ll receive a certificate of achievement 🎉 and options to:
• Join our Progression classes to perfect your skills
• Move up to the Silver course to learn new skills
• Take part in times trials and competitions
No prior experience is needed, this course is suitable for all ages, breeds, and we can even consider the nervous or reactive dogs too!
