About this Event
A slow paced women’s ride suitable for anyone who just learned to ride a bike or is getting back into cycling. As long as you can steer, pedal and use your brakes this is right for you.
We will be meeting at 10:00h by the bandstand in Walpole Park, Mattock Lane, W5 5EQ. Will will ride to Chiswick along quiet back roads or shared paths and back along CS9 to Kew before heading up to Ealing along the quiet back roads and shared use paths
We will ride to Chiswick Flower Market via the Chiswick House cafe where we will stop for a drink/snack. Our second stop will be at the Flower Market before riding back to Walpole Park. We aim to be back by 13:30h.
Feel free to bring a pannier/rucksack to do some flower market shopping.
We will set off promptly so please make sure you arrive on time.
Please bring with you:
- A helmet if you wish to wear one
- Gloves in case its cold
- Water and Snacks
- Money/Card if you wish to buy snacks
- Spare inner tube for your own bike
- A bike lock for your own bike
- Pannier or rucksack if you wish to make a purchse at the Flower Market.
PLEASE NOTE:
If you can't come pls let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the place to someone on our waiting list as places are very limited at the moment.
Do not come on our rides if you have Covid symptoms, have been in close contact with someone who has symptoms or if you have been asked to self isolate.
