Take Your Physiotherapy Practice to the Next Level with Force Plates and HDD
Gain the skills and confidence to integrate cutting-edge technology into your clinical practice with this practical, hands-on workshop. Designed for physiotherapists beginning their journey with integrating tech into their clinical practice, the sessions focus on using dual force plates and hand-held dynamometry to improve assessment and treatment outcomes.
Session Options
- Morning Beginner Session: Learn the basics of force plate use, master four essential tests, and identify key metrics to focus on. Through case studies and group workshops, you’ll apply your knowledge to real-world scenarios like sprained ankles, rotator cuff tears, and osteoarthritis of the knee.
- Afternoon Intermediate Session: Ideal for those with experience, this session covers rehab monitoring throughout the whole rehab journey, force-time curve analysis, and RSI improvement. Work through advanced patient cases, including ACL rehab, Achilles tendinopathy, hip impingement, and post-dislocation shoulder cases.
In this beginner session we will cover:
- Basics force plate use
- The 4 tests to conquer first
- What are the best metrics to look at for beginners
- Case studies – shoulder and knee
- Practical application on the gear - patient scenarios to workshop in groups (sprained ankle, rotator cuff tear, OA knee)
This workshop offers a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between technology and physiotherapy, helping you deliver more effective, data-informed care.
