Learn to Play the Ukulele! Kathy from Creative Learning House will teach participants how to tune, strum, and play basic chords on this fun, little instrument. It will be an entertaining, interactive group class for adults. The ukulele has become popular recently as it is being used in today’s popular music. It’s easy to learn so even those with no prior music experience can be successful. Participants will be playing songs right away giving them confidence in their music making abilities.
Taught by experienced player and teacher, Kathy Bellavia from Creative Learning House, group classes will take place every Friday, April 19 through June 7 from 4:30-5:15 at St. Pete ArtWorks, 2604 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, 33712. Cost for the series of 8 lessons is $145, which includes printed teaching materials and recordings of songs.
