T’ai chi and Qigong are both ancient Chinese traditions that relieve stress and increase energy. Tai Chi is a gentle form of exercise having fluid movements which increases strength, flexibility, range of motion, and balance. It is practiced in a slow, focused manner, accompanied by deep breathing. A few of the essential movements of the Tai Chi 24 Form will be introduced. Qigong will be added as warm up exercises. $5.00 to be paid to instructor. Wear comfortable clothing. Taught by Heather Bolyn-Becker, teacher and practitioner for 20 years.
