Please join Greg Sergi in 4- beginner Tai Chi moving meditation sessions. Greg has dedicated the last twelve years to training and studying Tai Chi; and has been certified as an instructor by Master Waysun Liao. He spent eight years practicing and learning full-time as a founding member of a Tai Chi Tao Center in Guatemala. In 2020 he returned to Wisconsin to share the practice locally
Tai Chi means supreme-boundless or infinity, and is a state of being that we aim to enter into through moving meditation. In Tai Chi sessions, we will begin with a short period of body-opening practices to prepare for meditation. Following that, participants will imitate the leader’s Tai Chi Forms all together as we practice moving meditation. Guidance on fundamental Tai Chi principles will be cued in throughout the practice to help maintain concentration and focus.
