If you are new to swing dance, want to brush up on your skills, or want to learn a new dance role - this is the lesson for you!Learn to swing dance at our Swing 101 class, held every Wednesday of the month. No partner or previous dance experience required! We hold our beginner lesson at the Front Porch (221 E Water St, Charlottesville, VA 22902).
6:45-7:00pm -- Check-in at the front desk
7:00-8:00pm -- Swing 101 Lesson
8:00-9:00pm -- Social dance - Practice your new moves, mix and mingle.
Price is $10 at the door each night. Credit card payment strongly preferred.
***Masks are optional at SwingCville events, and we will no longer require vaccinations as of August 1, 2023. We are so happy to be a community that is supportive of different dancers' preferences and will always support folks who still want to wear masks while dancing.
