Procreate is a digital art drawing and design app for iPad. It is way less expensive than traditional digital editing programs with no subscription fees and free upgrades. Digital illustration has exploded due to the ease with which even complete beginners can use the Apple Pencil to easily practice drawing or lettering, edit photos, etc, without the frustration of eraser smudges and crumpled paper. Even if you “can’t draw a stick figure,” with practice, you can dramatically improve your drawing skills with this app.
This class is for people who need the most basic information on how to use the app, from creating a canvas, going through the brush, smudge, and eraser tool menus, simple selections, shape and line help, saving, exporting, and sharing your creations.

While the Apple Pencil is not required to use Procreate, it is required to take this class. Please have the Procreate app already downloaded and installed before class, and be sure your Apple Pencil is fully charged and paired via Bluetooth with your ipad. We will not have time to troubleshoot individual installation problems in class.
There will be an Intermediate class in the weeks following the beginner class, for those who want to continue learning
