Join Sherman Butler and Elena Teran, CORA (Cincinnati Off-Road Alliance) board members and BICP (Bike Instructor Certification Program) Level 1 instructors for this beginner skills session at the Lebanon Mountain Bike Park. Don't have a bike? A limited number of bikes will be available for rent from the City of Lebanon Parks Department. WHO IS THE CLINIC FOR?
Those who are new to mountain biking and would like to learn foundational skills focused on balance, stability and control for a fun and safe ride. This is an introductory class for those aged 14 and older.
OVERVIEW
This is a 1.5 hour clinic with 30 minutes of on-trail practice.

Safety checks to perform before each ride
Proper body position and maintaining balance while riding
Bike-body separation
Proper braking
Proper shifting to maintain speed
Dismounting and remounting
Apply fundamentals on the trail
